Mieke Gerritzen

The designer Mieke Gerritzen is, a.o., known for her fascination with collections of images. Her work recently was shown in the Cooper Hewitt Museum New York, the Design Museum Milan and the Venice Biennale. She is also director of MOTI, Museum of the Image in Breda, Netherlands.

Geert Lovink

1959 born in Amsterdam, the Netherlands
he
studied political sciences in Amsterdam and earned a doctorate at the Universiy of Melbourne, Australia
lives in Amsterdam

Geert Lovink is founding director of the Institute of Network Cultures, Dutch media theorist and critic. He is founder of internet projects such as "nettime" and "fibreculture". His latest book is called: "Zero Comments", Routledge, New York, 2007.

The books "Everyone is a Designer" (BIS 2010), "Catalogue of Strategies (Gingko Press 2010) are joint projects by Mieke Gerritzen and Geert Lovink aswell as the BROWSERDAY event, founded in 1998.
